Fit-Test New Zealand (FTNZ) is located in Tauranga, providing respirator fit testing services in the Western Bay of Plenty region, which includes Rotorua, as well as in the wider Waikato area.
In late 2025 or early 2026, FTNZ plans to offer a mobile fit testing service across the North Island, and will share details, in advance, about the locations and dates in the Location calendar (which is still under development).
FTNZ was set up in September 2025 by Jim Napier. Jim is a registered fit tester for Quantitative Fit Testing (QNFT) and is listed on the Commit2Fit Register of competent fit testers for QNFT. He is also a retired Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH(Ret)), is registered on the HASANZ Register, and is a Fellow member of the New Zealand Occupational Hygiene Society (FNZOHS).
